Making Galway a Sustainable City

I believe there is a huge desire among the population of the city for a greater effort to make Galway Climate-neutral. A recent UCC study in Cork showed that over 90% of people want more parks, greater diversity, and more green spaces, all leading to a more sustainable city. I have no doubt the people of Galway want the same, and that the City Council should lead on this.

We also need to see achieving sustainability as an economic opportunity, not as a problem. It will mean change, but change for the better.
